Our commission is 25 percent of the final listing values, plus 50 cents for each card that sells for less than 0.
We transmit 75 percent of the purchase price (less our fees) two weeks after the closing date of the first auction. We hold back the last 25 percent for an additional four weeks. This is because there are sometimes returns or cancellations of purchases. In that situation, we may need to deduct the price of those cards from the total payment. We take care of any adjustments with the second payment.
Please do not ship us any cards until you have confirmed with us that your collection fits with our auctions. Not all cards are suitable for consignment. We don’t want you to go through the effort of packing up and mailing your cards, only to have us send them back.
Please include your contact information with your consignment. You should include your name, mailing address, email and phone number. Please also specify if you want to be paid by check or PayPal. If PayPal, please give us your PayPal account email.
If you are uncertain about how to pack your cards most safely, we’re happy to discuss that with you.
We will list your cards within seven to ten business days of receiving your consignment. Auctions are no-reserve and run for ten days.
We go through a two-step process to decide which cards to list on eBay.
First, we grade the cards. We require that cards meet certain minimum standards in order to be listed. Cards may be excluded because of damage, poor centering, or failure to meet minimum size requirements, among other reasons. You are more than welcome to raise concerns with us about individual grading decisions. However, at the end of the day, Greg has sole discretion to decide each card’s grade.
Second, we scan every card that passes the first assessment. We then run a software tool on the cards to confirm that they meet minimum size requirements. Cards that don’t pass the test are also set aside.
All remaining cards are listed, but they may not be listed at the same time.
Once your cards are listed, you will receive log-in information for our portal at www.gregmorriscards.com. From there, you will be able to see activity on your cards.
Yes! We’re only human, but we do everything in our power to fix any problems that come up. Please never hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about anything related to your consignment. We can be reached at email@example.com or by submitting an inquiry on this website.
No, consignors are expressly forbidden from bidding on their own cards. If we find evidence that a consignor bid on their own card, that consignor will be banned from placing further consignments.
No, this is also prohibited. This conduct will also result in being banned from future consignments.
No, there is no excuse for bidding on your own listing. If we make a mistake and a card goes for an unfair price, we will make it right.
